Instructions for the Bonus Homework

Here are the precise instruction for the Bonus Homework:

From each chapter, select two problems that you did not have the right solution.
Explain your mistake for each problem.
Look at the solution to the problem.
Write your explaination and the solution in a document (see below for the structure).
Submit this homework on Laulima, in-person, or in my mailbox by Monday, May 10th, before 11:55pm.

Please follow these instructions to format and to upload your homework.

Format

Follow these rules to format your homework:

Write down your complete name (First and Last Name) in the right corner of the first page of your homework.
Write down the homework number in the left corner of the first page of your homework.
Write down clearly the question number you are answering.
Specify the section number
Turn in your solutions to the problems in the order they are presented.
Number each page.
Write down one question per page for clarity (optional).

Upload

Follow these instructions to upload your homework on Laulima (see the Assignment section in the left menu in the Laulima website).

Your file must be in a PDF Format. No other format will be accepted.
Your filename must be LastnameFirstname_HWX.pdf where X is the homework number. No other name will be accepted.
Scan your homework with a good scanner. Verify the quality of your documents before submitting it to Laulima. If the scanned document is poor quality, it won't be accepted.

Below are examples of a correct filename and an incorrect filename:

Correct filename for homework 1: ParisePierreOlivier_HW1.pdf.
Incorrect filename for homework 1: HW1.pdf.

If you decide to team up with another classmate to do the homework assignment, make sure to put the two names on your copy. You are still require to submit an individual copy on Laulima.
