Lecture Notes

You will find in the tables below the lecture notes for each section of each chapter. You may print it and fill them out during lectures. If you have a tablet, you can bring your tablet and fill them out with your tablet.

The lecture notes are based on the book Calculus, 8th Edition by James Stewart. All the exercises suggested in the tables below will be found in this book.

Pre-Calculus Prerequisites

For the first week of the semester, we will review important notions from precalculus. In the table below, you will find exercises that will help you prepare for the new material.

We will also introduce the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus and how it can be used to compute the exact value of an integral.

The answers to the odd numbers are in the Appendix H of the textbook.
